Doris Daley

Black Diamond, Southern Alberta, Canada

Doris Daley: an Alberta born, ranch raised, grass fed, windblown, puffed and powdered, frocked and fringed, hale and hearty, happy trailed, spangled and wrangled road warrior, nimble emcee, easy keeper, western wordsmith and purveyor of rhymed and metered original poetry. Find her on stages big or small, wherever friends of the west gather. Gets her mail and plays piano at the seniors lodge in Turner Valley, Alberta.

Doris was the 2013 recipient of the Texas Cowboy Poetry Gathering Heritage Award.
